The Science Museum Group’s world-class Outreach team will be heading to Selfridges this December to amaze Christmas shoppers at its Bond Street store with a host of free live science experiments.
Taking place on the weekend of 14-15 December in the department store’s 4th floor toy shop, the collaboration will put a science twist on the traditional Christmas shopping experience, in the hope to wow unsuspecting shoppers and inspire budding scientists. Visitors to the store will be able to see a range of experiments performed live by the Outreach team, which feature dry ice, giant bubbles and rockets, and watch demonstrations of the Science Museum Group’s licensed products. These include a Make Your Own Crystal Set, Chemistry Lab, Microscope and Slimy Laboratory, all from licensee Clementoni.
