Ignite curiosity in science and maths through more than 50 hands-on exhibits and immersive experiences. A must-do for KS2 and KS3.

Inspired by power of wondering, Wonderlab: The Equinor Gallery enriches learning across the themes of Forces, Electricity, Light, Sound, Matter, Space and Maths for KS2 and KS3.

Alongside over 50 hands-on exhibits the gallery includes live experiments at our Chemistry Bar, lightning demos at our giant Tesla coil, and our brilliant Explainers to facilitate engagement.

Wonderlab encourages students to be curious, to look closely at details and to be creative—skills that are invaluable to scientists.

GALLERY GUIDE

Download the gallery guide to help you and your students make the most of the gallery and keep the conversation going back at school.

HOW DOES WONDERLAB WORK FOR MY GROUP?

We will allocate your group into time slots allowing 60 minutes in the gallery, Time slots start every 15 minutes and admit up to 70 people (pupils and teachers) at a time, so we may need to split your group across sessions. Your confirmation letter will show the time slots we have allocated.

With a rolling admission across the day there will be other schools and members of the public in the gallery alongside your group. This gives Wonderlab a very lively atmosphere. We ask teachers and accompanying adults to explore with their students to help everyone engage with the exhibits.

VISITING WITH CHILDREN WITH SEND?

SEND days in Wonderlab are intended for students would benefit from a less busy environment. With a reduced capacity and a quieter atmosphere our Explainers aim to make the gallery even more access-friendly. Please check the calendar below for SEND dates.
